My motivation for my project “Round Table, Square Shape“
At the moment any processes of film production, namely filming and project financing, are impossible here, so the motivation to get a scholarship is growing. The deadlines, which will be accompanied by the scholarship, will help to collect and structuralize thoughts, and eventually develop a scenario, especially in such difficult times of surrounded by consistent air raids that always evoke haunting questions such as: „Will the missile hit us here and now, or not?“.
Therefore, I am very motivated to write a new story that will tell not only about the war, but also about the emotional experiences of different generations and with different points of view. Writing a screenplay would help me to detach myself from the realities that are happening in Ukraine, namely the invasion of russia and their war crimes on the territory of my country. I want to revisit the history of our past, rethink and start writing the script, being „10 minutes older“ from what I have
experienced and seen.
