My motivation for my project “F**king Sensitivity“
Before the full-scale invasion, I truly believed in the existential theory of saving energy. It means that if you do not have a fire inside it will be impossible to be productive, to be active, to move mountains. But the accumulation of power, aspirations, and will of my compatriots have smashed this theory to pieces. Honestly, I do not understand where we have found the power to get together and act together. That is why it is important to me to fix that period of the “Big Bang”.
For my main character Yasia, the war started earlier than the 24th of February. The war started in 2014 and dragged on for almost eight years taking her power and will to live away. That short and well-time period of accepting yourself and your traumas is the reason why we become able to keep going.
