My motivation for my project “We’re here from CINC“
My motivation is rather simple. I believe that writing a script will help me personally, and perhaps a certain circle of people, to cope with such an extraordinary, traumatic challenge as war. I have been filming this war since 2014, from the very start. For me, this is an open wound, a tough experience that needs to be dealt with to simply live, raise children and help other people. It is the making of films that helps me turn the war into the will to live. Not to succumb to despair. To look for goodness and meaning in the most difficult situations. I also believe that the language of art is the only universal language that allows you to tell about the war to people in other parts of the world so as not to traumatize them, but to convey the truth about what is happening in our land.
