My motivation for my project “Marevo“
In the past, I often dreamed about the war and the bombing of my hometown. It was a horror from which I woke up and called to my parents on the phone to warn them to be careful during the day. Often in sleep I hiding with parents in the basement, never could have thought that the horror would become a reality.
The property of the body is to quickly forget dreams. The goal of the film is to capture this value of sleep for Ukrainians and draw a parallel with what they live every day. Now Ukrainians have unstable sleep, as night sirens, overwork, irregularity of the day. Also an escape from the horrors that we live in consciousness.
