My motivation for my project “Company of Steel“
For me, this film is not about war, this film is about how people change if war comes to their home. Through the prism of the three characters, the film shows a section of the Ukrainian young generation and demonstrates the development of civil society, which has been clearly manifested since the first days of the military conflict with Russia since 2015. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, I decided that it is necessary to do everything possible and impossible to finish this film. We made revision of the creative concept of the film, developed steps to restore the audience’s attention to the film, found the primary partners, optimized the budget as much as possible, and now we are doing everything possible to complete the film.
