Daria Badior

Daria Badior ist freiberufliche Kritikerin, Redakteurin und Journalistin aus der Ukraine. Sie ist Mitkuratorin des Filmfestivals Kyiv Critics‘ Week, das jährlich Ende Oktober stattfindet. Im Jahr 2021 war sie Mitbegründerin der NGO Coalition for Culture, die die Kulturpolitik in der Ukraine analysiert. Im Jahr 2018 war sie Mitbegründerin des Verbands der ukrainischen Filmkritiker:innen, der ukrainische Filmemacher:innen mit dem Kinokolo-Preis auszeichnet.

Jury-Statement

I am tremendously happy that I could have a glimpse of various film projects that Ukrainian filmmakers are working on. So many of them promise exciting films and developments both for their creators and the audience. I wish them good luck, and I am looking forward to watching them on a screen.
