Anna Machukh

Anna Machukh ist seit 2020 Geschäftsführerin des Internationalen Filmfestivals Odesa. Von 2011 bis 2016 arbeitete Anna Machukh als Marketingdirektorin des OIFF, 2017 war sie Direktorin des OIFF-Filmmarktes und von 2018 bis 2020 hatte sie die Position der Direktorin für strategische Entwicklung des Festivals inne. Anna Machukh ist außerdem Geschäftsführerin der Ukrainischen Filmakademie und Mitbegründerin der Online-Plattform für den audiovisuellen Sektor DzygaMDB.

Jury-Statement

I can say with confidence that there is Ukrainian cinema and it will be! Wars and crises are always an impetus to creativity and development. I would like our country to avoid such a fate and our cinematography could develop in its own peaceful way. But life has turned out differently, and programmes like FiLMBOOST are vital for the film industry to continue to exist and the stories that were born in these months to be realized.
